What A Hoot Nursery Bedlington

A new and exciting addition to our nurseries, What A Hoot Bedlington has undergone a huge transformation into light and bright playrooms with fantastic outdoor space. The rooms have been carefully planned and equipped with natural resources and materials enabling the children to have access to a fun and highly engaging environment.
About us
If you live in Bedlington, Blyth, Ashington, Cramlington, Seaton Delaval, Seaton Sluice or any of the surrounding North Tyneside or South East Northumberland areas, What A Hoot offers practical and affordable daycare services for parents looking to give their children the best possible start in life.
1
National standards
As a registered childcare facility, we meet the national standards set by OFSTED our governing body and all of our staff have been suitably DBS-checked and gone through a rigorous recruitment procedure.
2
Three separate nursery rooms
Our Bedlington nursery currently consists of 3 spacious and vibrant rooms. We have 1 baby rooms (0-2 years), 1 room for 2-3 year olds and 1 rooms for pre-school/3-5 year olds.
3
We offer a unique experience
As well as a purposeful and enriching learning experience for the children, What A Hoot offers something very special – and quite unique for a day nursery. We have our own in-house drama and imagination company, with unique stories and songs to ignite the children’s imagination and take them on a make-believe journey through the woods, under the sea – and even to the moon! Even our littlest children benefit from this experience and gain confidence using their imaginations and language and communication skills.
4
Convenient location
Conveniently situated on Forster Avenue near Bedlington town centre, What A Hoot is ideal for parents who live, work or travel through Bedlington – we’re easily accessed by bus or on foot, with dedicated parking facilities for those travelling by car – and we’re just a short walk from various schools should you have older children to drop-off too.
5
Mindfulness & Yoga Room
We also have a mindfulness and yoga room. The children use this room to promote their emotional literacy. We believe that yoga and mindfulness can improve both physical and mental health in young children as well as a host of other benefits such as;
-
Focus on the breath
-
Specific poses & activities to promote mindfulness
-
Balance
-
Acceptance of self & others
-
Self-awareness.
